The Restaurant Luise is the architectural and culinary heart of the house. The place where the guest can enjoy the exquisite sophistication of healthy cuisine. Only fresh food is processed here and seasonal creations are served. Whether you take a seat in the cozy cuckoo's nests and enjoy the magnificent view of Freiburg's local mountain, the "Schauinsland" or take a seat at the free-standing tables: the premises radiate vitality and carefree lifestyle. In the Luisenstube area we would like to keep alive - newly interpreted - a special memory of the old Luisenhöhe.

Breakfast „Tischlein deck dich“

Our inspiring Tischlein deck dich breakfast (breakfast menu): We serve you 5 daily changing breakfast delicacies and our selection of bread. You will also find a selection of local cheeses and cold cuts specialties, various homemade spreads, juices and other vitamins on our themed board. You have a full selection of home-roasted coffee specialties and high-quality teas from the Althaus – Limited Leaves line.

DINNER AT LUISE

Chef de Cuisine Niels Möller and his team focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients from the region and create unique taste experiences for their guests. The dishes are based on the season and the availability of processed products. LUISES Menu delights you every day of the week with a changing regional and seasonal 4-course menu + aperitif and petit fours. The menu is prepared with finely selected products from the region’s forests, meadows and vegetable gardens. The purely vegetarian, plant-based menu can be deliberately supplemented with daily changing meat, fish or shellfish alternatives or enjoyed in vegan form. Large selection of open wines and wine list with approx. 500 items.

  • House guests: daily from 06:30 p.m. (last seating at 08:30 p.m.)
  • External guests: Tuesday to Saturday from 06:30 p.m. (reservation required, last reservation: 08:00 p.m.

LUISE'S COFFEE TABLE

Let us surprise you – we serve a delicious selection of 5 sweet treats from our patisserie, e.g. freshly baked cakes, profiteroles and madeleines, as well as hand-scooped pralines, fine ice creams and sorbets. Varied and inspired by the seasonal diversity of our producers.

  • Saturday & Sunday: 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (reservation required, last reservation: 3:30 p.m.)
